MUKILTEO, Was./EWORLDWIRE/Oct. 26, 2009 --- Grand scale size in is the mark of the masters of framing behind the opening of Mukilteo Mirror and Frame (MMF) - Steve Brown, Sue Quigley and Irina Milton. The trio are applying their decades of experience to the art of picture framing. With the ability to cut large, thick moulding used to surround exceptional canvased prints and to produce elegant mirrors of any size MMF brings a new dimension to picture framing in the Puget Sound area.

Brown observes that in recent poor economic times, many old established picture framing businesses across the country have closed their doors. Opening the store at this time, he affirms, this may be the prime time to meet traditional picture framing needs while providing interior designers with the resources they need for larger size work.

Equipment employed at the shop produces large frames without side nailing, and the showroom features manufactured mirrors from the Uttermost company.

"In tight times, people look for highly affordable options, and Uttermost provides the most, with hundreds of different styles, and some with matching tables or accessories," stated Brown. Tight times and a desire to bring awareness of the shop are reasons Brown says the company is offering complimentary delivery of any of the stores' products, custom framing projects, custom mirrors, or manufactured mirrors for a limited time. Additionally the staff at MMF will come to pick up client projects and have recommendations for framing ready when the client comes to the showroom.

One of the unique offerings of Mukliteo Mirror and Frame is the on-site consultation, which provides him and his team with the chance to see where the final product will be showcased and thus make appropriate design recommendations.

Quigley, who has joined Brown from the recently closed Quality Framing of Lake Stevens, enjoys a reputation that extends throughout the area for her talent and superior design skills, and strong relationships with her previous clients.

With a background in painting and in teaching painting classes at Everett Community College, Milton holds the position of co-owner of MMF. Her son, Dan, a student of Edmonds Community College, assisted in the creation of the design studio.

"I am confident that our combined depth of experience and knowledge are the perfect combination of skills and talent to deliver the most successful picture framing/mirror business in the state of Washington and further afield," added Brown.
