BURBANK, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Aug. 22, 2006 --- Crush Creative, a southern California-based visual communications agency produces and installs the complete graphic wrap of Air Force Reserve Mini C-17 transporter.The Air Force Reserve miniature C-17 replica, the “Spirit of Hope, Liberty & Freedom” based in Charleston, S.C. travels the United States and the globe to take part in community outreach programs and events. The wings and tail of the aircraft are detachable so that it can fit into the 44 foot third wheel trailer used to transport the aircraft. The trailer is pulled by a Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab truck. Both the truck and trailer can then be loaded into an actual C-17 aircraft for transporting around the world.
Using artwork designed by Milo Duffin of Blaine Warren Advertising, Crush Creative printed over 1,000 square feet of 3M 8620 adhesive back vinyl with a 3M overlaminate for both the truck and the trailer. The installation took three days to complete. The most challenging element of the installation was wrapping the wheel wells and aligning the artwork from the two front fenders to the hood of the Ford truck.
